It must have worked because I cannot find a bottle of Binge anywhere.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7838969.post-45884753030558611332008-05-30T01:05:00.000+10:002008-05-30T01:05:00.000+10:00There's already been a massive tax hike on Chardon...There's already been a massive tax hike on Chardonnay-like products. My usual 4 litre cask of DeBortoli Unwooded Chardonnay jumped from $13.50 to $17.50 last fortnight.
Start screaming blue murder, you upright middle-class moderates!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7838969.post-5154946967477334992008-05-29T12:29:00.000+10:002008-05-29T12:29:00.000+10:00Just you hate the hypocrisy of Rudd? He announces ...Just you hate the hypocrisy of Rudd? He announces in April that he will increase the tax on Alcopops to prevent binge drinking. Yet in the budget papers the forward estimates for the tax on Alcopops increases 300% over three budgets.

In other words more of the stuff will be drunk not less. Oh how I hate the spin of these incompetents.

And yet again the so called luxury tax on luxury vehicles ie vehicles costing more than $57000 will tax fuel efficient vehicles which are not yet cheap and stuff the local manufacturing car industry. Of course more job losses. At that end of the market.

And the solar heating subsidy announced by Howard will only go to family incomes of less than $100 000. Don't we need to protect the environment? Protecting the environment needs to be rewarded and not income based.

These guys are soaked in envy. Pity as I thought that they held a little promise. Dudds!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
