Not only does he deal with the criminal aspects of drug abuse, he also has to deal with the unfortunate victims it leaves in its wake. No wonder he is frustrated with the war on drugs... he knows it is not being won.Bobbyhttp://patmoorefoundation.com/alcohol-detoxnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7838969.post-72473384295838367052010-06-01T16:28:57.640+10:002010-06-01T16:28:57.640+10:00The Government treat us like fools, and we let the...The Government treat us like fools, and we let them.<br />Our drug policies in this country are going backwards at an alarming rate. <br />I challenge any rational thinker to explain to me why booze is legal and tolerated, yet a bit of weed will get me a criminal conviction and possibly jail time.<br />How is it we reduced tobacco smoking, the most addictive drug, by 50% in just 20 years or so without putting anyone in prison, or even fining them? Couldn't we use the same techniques for other drugs?<br />How come you don't hear of beer companies shooting at each other over market share?<br />Colin Barnett here in WA is leading the way, right back to 1937.Jamesnoreply@blogger.com
